A high-powered Federal Government delegation, led by the President’s Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, visited the affected communities of Esiele and Yawota to assess the situation and console the residents.The President, as part of immediate steps, don approve the recruitment of 1,000 forest guards in partnership with the Oyo State Government.

Additionally, a special rescue unit with advanced operational skills go intensify efforts to secure the safe release of the abducted pupils and teachers.
